The management of Petrex attaches great importance to gender equity in business and society. We have a modern image of women and recently hired our new female employee. However, the equality of men and women is still not implemented in all areas of life, which is why we would like to draw attention to today’s International Women’s Day 2021. Marked annually on March 8th is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s accomplishments or rally for women’s equality. This day is also a critical reminder of the equality of women and men. We would like to take this day as an opportunity to support organizations in the equality of women by donating to a local organization. Karunai e.V. substituted a home for female Indian orphans. This is our contribution to make the world a better place for women.
